Kayserispor has experienced a significant development in the case filed by former player Umut Bulut. The Kayseri 6th Labor Court has reduced the amount Kayserispor must pay to Umut Bulut from 1,161,000 Euros and 545,655 TL to 487,000 Euros and 545,000 TL. Umut Bulut transferred to Kayserispor in 2016 and unilaterally terminated his contract with the club in December 2019. He had filed a lawsuit to collect his dues. In the initial hearing, the court ruled in favor of Bulut, ordering a high payment. However, Kayserispor appealed this decision to the appellate court. The appellate court reviewed the case and overturned the local court's decision, sending the file back to the 6th Labor Court. Kayserispor's spokesperson, Emir Akpınar, stated that the amount ruled against the club has significantly decreased. This development has led to an important legal victory for Kayserispor.
