Kayserispor's young defender Fethi Özer underwent surgery today at a private hospital in the city for a torn meniscus in his left knee. The 29-year-old centre back, who joined Kayserispor from Eyüpspor this season, was injured in training ahead of the match against Esenler Erokspor.
CLUB LEADERSHIP VISITS ÖZER
Club president Tufan Koç, club manager Seyit İçgül and head coach Atila Gerin visited Özer after the operation. Kayserispor said in a written statement that its president, club manager and head coach visited Özer following his surgery to wish him a swift recovery.

The injury came just days after a strong result on the pitch. Kayserispor beat Esenler Erokspor 3-0 away on 7 September 2026, taking their tally to 13 points from six games in 1. Lig and putting them third in the table, three points behind leaders Batman Petrolspor.
