Kayserispor's debt to former player Kartal Kayra Yılmaz has been set at 7,940,511 Turkish Lira. The Turkish Football Federation's Arbitration Panel (UÇK) issued its ruling on April 6, 2026, partially accepting the player's total claim of 10,361,802.50 TL.

The club stated, "The Turkish Football Federation Arbitration Panel (UÇK) has made its decision in the lawsuit for receivables filed against our club by our former player Kartal Kayra Yılmaz on April 6, 2026." It added, "It was decided to reject 2,421,291.50 TL of the player's total claim of 10,361,802.50 TL and to accept 7,940,511 TL."

The UÇK rejected claims for tax and a performance bonus in its reasoned decision. The panel said, "The claim for tax receivables amounting to 1,921,291.50 Lira was completely rejected, while the claim for a performance bonus of 500,000 TL was also rejected because the conditions stipulated in the contract could not be proven." The case was registered under file numbers 2026/233 Esas and 2026/601 Karar.

While this legal process was ongoing, Kayserispor has remained focused on its campaign in the 1. Lig. The team sits second in the league with 27 points from 12 matches, trailing leaders Bursaspor by four points in the standings. With a recent form of two wins, two draws, and one loss (LDDWW) from its last five games, Kayserispor suffered a 4-1 defeat to Bitlis Özgüzelderespor on October 29.

The team's next fixture is a league match at home against seventh-placed Muğlaspor on November 2, 2026. Top scorer T. Seferi, with 9 goals in 12 appearances, remains a key figure in the squad. The club must manage this financial obligation while maintaining its push near the top of the table.
