Kayserispor has been ordered by FIFA to pay 1.228 million euros in compensation. The club must pay the sum to former head coach Radomir Dalovic and three members of his technical staff.

The FIFA Football Tribunal's ruling, dated 7 April 2026, was communicated to the club on 2 November. The total includes 854,282 euros for Dalovic and 124,800 euros each for assistant coaches Igor Cagalj, Antonio Pavlinovic, and Davor Landeka. An additional 283,542 euros in contractual penalties brings the total unpaid amount to 945,140 euros. Club vice-chairman Emir Akpınar confirmed the decision. "The club announced that the four separate cases filed by the technical staff and assistants were concluded against them, resulting in a total compensation liability of 1,228,682 euros," Akpınar said.

Kayserispor faces a potential football registration ban if payment is not made within 45 days. The club management stated it will not appeal the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). This financial burden comes as Kayserispor sits second in the 1. Lig with 30 points from 13 games, just one point behind leaders Bursaspor. The team, which recently beat Muğlaspor 6-0, faces Ümraniyespor away on 8 November in its next fixture. Top scorer Taulant Seferi has 10 goals this season. The club must handle this financial issue while maintaining its strong league form. The team's recent form shows two wins, two draws, and one loss from its last five matches. In the 6-0 win on 2 November, goals came from Manadi Camara, Daniel Moreno, Taulant Seferi, and Florent Hasani, following a 4-1 defeat to Bitlis Özgüzelderespor on 29 October. With 32 goals scored and only 9 conceded this season, Kayserispor has a +23 goal difference. Having recorded nine wins, three draws, and one loss from 13 games, the club now prepares for a fixture against 14th-placed Ümraniyespor next.
