Kayserispor has secured a favorable ruling in a legal dispute with former player Kartal Kayra Yılmaz. The Turkish Football Federation's Dispute Resolution Board rejected 2.4 million TL of Yılmaz's total claim of over 10.3 million TL.

The club confirmed the decision in a statement, saying, "The Turkish Football Federation Dispute Resolution Board (UÇK) has made its decision in the receivables case filed against our club by our former footballer Kartal Kayra Yılmaz on April 6, 2026." The rejected amount consisted of 1,921,291.50 TL in tax claims and a 500,000 TL performance bonus demand. The board found that the conditions for the performance bonus had not been proven.

With this ruling, the accepted claim amount was set at 7,940,511 TL. The dispute involved unpaid fees and tax claims from the 2023-2024 season. The case was processed under file number 2026/233 dated October 22, 2026.

This positive development provides significant relief for Kayserispor as they continue their push in the 1. Lig. The team currently sits second in the league with 30 points from 13 games, just one point behind leaders Bursaspor. In their last five matches, 7 of the team's 12 total goals were scored during a critical 15-minute period between the 60th and 75th minutes. Coming off a 6-0 win over Muğlaspor on November 2, their recent form shows two wins, two draws, and one loss from their last five matches. Top scorer Taulant Seferi has netted 10 goals in 13 appearances this season.

The team's next challenge is an away fixture against 14th-placed Ümraniyespor on November 8, 2026. A victory would strengthen Kayserispor's position in the title race.
