Kayserispor drew 2-2 away to Batman Petrolspor in the Trendyol 1. Lig. Striker Florent Hasani, returning from a lengthy injury absence, came off the bench to score twice and salvage a point for his team.

The match started poorly for the visitors, with Gökhan Karadeniz putting Batman Petrolspor ahead in just the second minute. Kayserispor created chances through Daniel Moreno and Taulant Seferi in the first half but could not equalise. Manager Atila Gerin introduced Hasani at half-time, a move that changed the game. The forward won and converted a penalty in the 65th minute to make it 1-1. He then put Kayserispor ahead in the 82nd minute, finishing from close range after a pass from Moreno. The lead was short-lived, however, as Yasir equalised for the hosts in the 87th minute to secure a 2-2 draw.

HASANI'S RETURN PROVIDES SPARK

Florent Hasani joined Kayserispor from Amedspor in the summer transfer window. After establishing himself as a regular starter early in the season, the experienced striker was sidelined by injury. His performance against Batman Petrolspor signaled a full recovery. Manager Atila Gerin has consistently expressed faith in the player. "We want to utilise Florent's goalscoring qualities. Having him available is very important for our team," Gerin said.

The draw extends Kayserispor's unbeaten run in the league to two matches. The team currently sits in 5th place in the league standings, maintaining their position in the promotion chase. Next up is a home match against Pendikspor, where Kayserispor will hope for Hasani's form to continue. The 30-year-old, with only three goals so far this season, is one of the squad's most experienced attackers and is expected to play a key role.

Kayserispor's next league fixture is against Pendikspor at the Kayseri Kadir Has City Stadium on Saturday, 1st November. The team's squad list shows Murat Uçar and Mert Göçkan are currently out injured. This away draw is considered a valuable point earned in difficult circumstances.
