Metro Holding Kayserispor dropped two points in stoppage time in a 2-2 draw away to Orfa Yapı Pendikspor in the 12th week of the Trendyol 1. Lig. The hosts equalised with a penalty in the sixth minute of added time.

Pendikspor took the lead in the 28th minute through a Clarke Harris penalty. The home side, who led 1-0 at half-time, were reduced to ten men in the 55th minute when Taha Emre İnce was sent off. Kayserispor capitalised immediately. Benhur Keser converted a penalty of his own in the 57th minute to level the score.

LATE DRAMA

Kayserispor increased the pressure towards the end of the match. In the 91st minute, Moreno pounced on a rebound from goalkeeper Emir Dadük's save from Oğulcan Çağlayan to put his team 2-1 ahead. Victory slipped away, however. After a VAR review in the 94th minute, Pendikspor were awarded a penalty. Muhammed Enes Kiprit converted it in the 96th minute to snatch a point.

With this result, Kayserispor extended their unbeaten league run to five matches. The team has taken three wins and two draws in the last five weeks, a run that sees them sitting near the top of the standings with 20 points. Manager Atila Gerin's side will host Göztepe next week. The squad has no major injury or suspension concerns.

Gökhan Değirmenci started in goal for Kayserispor. The defence consisted of Murat Uçar, Semih Güler, Tabidze and Denis Radu. Sinan Kurt, Görkem Sağlam and Benhur Keser played in midfield, with Seferi, Hasani and Moreno leading the attack. Gerin introduced Camara for Radu and Oğulcan Çağlayan for Hasani in the second half. This draw marks Kayserispor's second draw in their last three away matches.
