Kayserispor must pay former head coach Radomir Djalovic and his staff €1,228,682. The FIFA Football Tribunal ruled on October 30, notifying the club on November 2, with the sum covering unpaid salaries and contractual penalties.

The total comprises €945,140 in outstanding wages and €283,542 in penalties. Club spokesman Emir Akpınar stated that annual interest of 18 percent will be applied from April 7, 2026, until the actual payment date. Akpınar said, "It has also been stated that if payment is not made within 45 days of the notification of the decisions and if the relevant claimants request it, a national and international new player registration ban may be imposed on our club." The Yellow-Reds administration will not appeal the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

This financial obligation presents a new challenge for Kayserispor, who are second in the 1. Lig and in a tight title race. The team has 30 points from 13 games, sitting just one point behind leaders Bursaspor. Their recent fixtures have yielded mixed results, with two wins, two draws, and one loss in their last five outings (WLDDW). After a 6-0 thrashing of Muğlaspor last week, they suffered a 4-1 defeat to Bitlis Özgüzelderespor the week before. This sequence also included 2-2 draws with Pendikspor and Batman Petrolspor, as well as a 4-0 win over Antalyaspor and a 3-2 victory against Manisa F.K. In the Muğlaspor win, goals came from Manadi Camara, Daniel Moreno, Taulant Seferi, and Florent Hasani.

The club's next match is away to 14th-placed Ümraniyespor on Saturday, November 8. Claiming one of the league's most potent attacks with 32 goals scored this season, their top scorer is Taulant Seferi with 10 goals. The team's defence has also been solid, conceding only 9 goals for a high goal difference of +23. Alongside these sporting successes, the club's financial discipline is now in focus. The management aims to make the payment on time to avoid a potential registration ban. The 45-day period from the November 2 notification date expires on December 17, 2026.
