The referee for Kayserispor's away match against Ümraniyespor in the 1. Lig has been appointed. The Turkish Football Federation has assigned Muhammet Alperen Çopur as the central referee for the clash, which kicks off at 16:00 on Sunday, 8 November at Ümraniye Belediyesi Şehir Stadyumu. This is a key fixture for Kayserispor, who currently sit second in the table with a record of nine wins, three draws, and one loss from their 13 games.
Çopur will be assisted by Ömer Lütfü Aydın and Buğra Can Semercioğlu as assistant referees, with İbrahim Güner serving as the fourth official. This will be Çopur's fourth match in charge in the 2026 Trendyol 1. Lig season. He previously officiated Kayserispor's 2-0 win over Vanspor and was also the referee for the 2-2 draw between Keçiörengücü and Ümraniyespor.
Kayserispor, sitting second in the league with 30 points, are coming off a commanding 6-0 victory over Muğlaspor. In that win, goals came from Manadi Camara, Daniel Moreno (two), Taulant Seferi, and Florent Hasani, plus an own goal. Their form in the last five league matches reads two wins, two draws, and one defeat, which included 2-2 draws with Pendikspor and Batman Petrolspor and a 4-1 loss to Bitlis Özgüzelderespor. Just one point behind leaders Bursaspor, the Anatolian Stars have one of the division's most potent attacks, having scored 32 goals in 13 games while conceding only nine. Taulant Seferi leads the scoring charts for the club with 10 goals.
The away trip to 14th-placed Ümraniyespor represents a match where Kayserispor can ill afford to drop points. Manager Recep Uçar is expected to manage his squad carefully ahead of a busy period, as seen on the club's fixtures page.
Training sessions in the build-up have reportedly focused on set-pieces and rapid counter-attacks. The final preparatory session is scheduled for Saturday at 11.00 at the club's training base in Kayseri. Kayserispor aim to secure all three points on Sunday to maintain pressure at the top of the table.
